Box art, front
Box art, back
An entirely original board game based on Omaha poker, I made this project leveraging my strengths with 2D illustrations. It is a complete package of game design, color theory, and physical prototyping.
Prototyping a physical product was a new experience that taught me a lot. This set was custom ordered, and expensive, but having it done by professionals was worth sparing the headaches of doing every element myself by hand.
First and second iterations of the concept art and box cover, as the theme developed, every bit of illustration made leaned heavily into the color the four suits represented.
Super early prototyping of characters, cards, and other elements. The semblance is there, but this took many more tries to arrive at the final solution.
The final iterations of the assets, developed after multiple rounds of testing. These were made in a format that is modifiable by dragging and dropping elements, ensuring a clean workflow.
